it's my middle name and my old address. i'm not that creative unfortunately.
I'm at work still, wishing I was at his house, wishing he would be blunt about everything. Absolutely everything. I agree, it's better to lay the cards all on the table.
I just hope neither of us are bluffing.
As Sirius would say, "Nice one James!"

If you are a fan of the Twilight Saga I'm sure you'll recognize the flower. It still needs some touching up but I think it's pretty radical.
A lot of people don't notice things the same way I do. Sometimes when my mom and sisters and I are sitting around the living room watching a movie, popcorn scattered across the floor and eyes fixed to the big television screen, I'll see a spider crawl along the arm of the sofa inches from my arm. Sometimes I'll be walking from one room to another and see a feline figure darting from one corner to another. Sometimes when I'm alone I'll hear someone call my name and no matter how many times I turn around there won't be a familiar face behind me.
I don't get as scared as I used to when I was a little girl when these things happen. I brush it off, it's become normal. Sometimes though, when the dreams come, I wake up scared and cold and shaking. Mostly because what I dream I can't stop, they're a preview of whats to come for me and the ones I care about. I always feel guilty about not doing enough to stop it, about giving into fate.

I worked in a store that was half headshop half sex store.
Porn, pipes, dildos and roach clips.
Crack heads and perverts asking me if I tried this or that...
"Yes! My boyfriend and I absolutely love the 14'' double dong! It's so useful! I like to pull it out after we finish smoking crack from glass straws. But then, who doesn't am I right?"

So far today I have gone to the gym, felt fashionably superior to one of my friends and I am about to go shop for wine.
All in all I'd say the day is going pretty well, I just hope I don't jinx it.
I really need to keep working on Date Number Two. I'm still trying to get all the ideas put together in my head before I put them down on paper. We'll see. Hopefully by next week it will be done.
Might also start writing some Harry/Ginny soon. Depends on my mood, I've just got too many plot bunnies to write them all down.
Hope the rest of you have a great day!

Ok so I wrote a new song. I'm putting it up on here just in case I lose the lyrics and can't find them
Wasting Time
It's funny how fast the years can pass
When you're not really payin attention
And it's funny how you always find me
When you're lookin for a little redemption
Wasting time, doing lines
On canvas and erasing them
Because they don't fit the picture
You just keep wasting time
You've been hitting your head against
The Berlin Wall for all the wrong reasons
And you keep on lookin for your soulmate
In the pretty new girls of the season
Wasting time, doing lines
On canvas in charcoal and oils
They don't fit the picture
You just keep wasting time
It's the wrong hand that you're clutching
To help you get through the night
That's not the voice you need to hear
To tell you it's gonna be alright
You'll call Susie by the wrong name
You'll give in when she starts a fight
You're trying to fit a square into a circle
You don't know why it won't fit just right
Wasting time, wasting time.
Wasting Time

Title: Date Number 2
Rating: PG
Author's Note: I do not own Sylar and Elle. I do not own Heroes. I do not own anything besides a massive amount of shoes. This takes place after the pie, but before Trevor. I suppose it's AU. This is written for
1.
Elle shifted back and forth from her right and left foot nervously while standing in the doorway of Gabriel Grey's apartment. Smoothing down the nonexistent folds in her dress with sweaty palms.
'Ok Elle relax, you're just a normal girl on a normal date with a perfect normal and incredibly attractive guy. No sweat...,' she thought. 'Blue, why in the hell did I pick a blue dress. I always wear blue, he's seen me in blue. Oh well, it's too late to change now I already rang the damn doorb--'
Gabriel appeared in the doorway wearing a pristine charcoal button up and black fitted slacks. "Elle."
She knew this was supposed to be just a mission and she also knew that Bennet was watching in the van from the tiny camera inside the brooch pinned on her dress, but everytime Gabriel said her name it felt like someone just brushed their fingertips down the skin of her spine. He would breathe out her name with the same reverence whenever he would say God and she'd always involuntarily gasp a little and have to steady herself. A girl could get used to something like that.
Earlier in the evening, unbeknown to Bennet, she decided that tonight was going to be appreciated. This date was solely to gain more of Gabriel's trust and affection, something Elle had trouble admitting to herself she wanted for more than just the mission. She might not get a chance to go out to dinner with a nice guy for a long time, and Gabriel was a nice guy, no matter what Bennet thought. She linked her arm through his as they made their way downstairs and out to the street.
"Um, do you like sushi?" he asked. The muscles in his forearm felt tense under her fingertips and she was sure if she reached for his hand it would feel just as clammy as her own had been earlier. Good, at least she wasn't the only nervous one. This she could work with.
Elle flashed him a big smile and replied full of false confidence, "Sure! I like eating in the ra--" Gabriel misstepped at this.
"I mean raw food. I'm sorry, I really don't know where that came from!" Luckily a taxi pulled up before Gabriel could do anything but smile glance at the ground shyly. She rushed into the backseat first while Gabriel held the car door open for her. She tried to calm the blush creeping up from the back of her neck and decided to change the subject.
"So how was work?"

"So how was work?"
"About as uneventful as every other day. You know I never asked you what you do for a living." he turned his upper body towards hers and waited for an answer. She bit her lip, focusing more on the feeling of his thigh pressed up against hers as they sat than formulating a reply. She had rehearsed questions like this with Bennet repeatedly before their date.
"I work for my father's company, Primatech Paper. We're based out of Texas but I'm here trying to see if we can get a new branch started in the city."
"Paper? That's kind of surprising. You don't really seem like a paper kind of girl." He raised his eyes up slowly from her folded hands in her lap to her face.
"I'm not really. I always go for rock or scissors." He laughed a little at her cheeky response and continued.
"I figured you were a schoolteacher or a nurse. Something like that."
Something nice, she thought. I'm not nice. "Well kids and I wouldn't mix well, I'm very impatient and I hate hospitals. Always have since I was a little girl. Rubber gloves still kind of creep me out. So what about you Mr.Grey? You're a watchmaker, did you always want to do that? What would you be if you weren't one?"
At this he seemed pensive, almost brooding. "I guess I'd be free. I never really had much of a choice in the occupation department. My father was a watchmaker, and his father before that. I was never really the rebellious type, I followed the rules as a kid. I guess I keep doing it because I still want my father's approval." Gabriel glanced out the window but brought his face back to hers when he felt her hand cover his.
"Yeah. I know what that's like." she whispered to him. Their faces were getting closer and closer now. Elle could feel his warm breath on her face and could smell the musk of his aftershave. God, he smells good...
"Elle.." he breathed. There it was again, the ghost fingertips on her back. Except these fingers were warm, real. She wanted this, she wanted him to kiss her. Things had to go at his pace though and according to Bennet she wasn't supposed to push anything physical, he had to kiss her first. God, why wasn't he kissing her yet!
She let her eyes drift shut slowly and she could almost feel his lips on hers when the car suddenly jerked to a stop and their heads were knocked together.
"Ow!" they said in unison, both retreating and rubbing their foreheads.
"This is your stop." the cab driver spat dejectedly, not even bothering to turn his head towards the other occupants in the backseat.
The moment effectively ruined, Gabriel gave Elle a half smile and paid the driver. He stepped out first and held his hand out to help Elle get out of the car, always the gentleman. Elle just grit her teeth and glared daggers at the cab driver, clenching one hand into a fist to keep from shocking the hell out of the cab driver. She took Gabriel's hand and thought that tonight was definitely going to wear on her nerves.

Tomorrow is Christmas! I'm trying to keep my Christmas spirits up despite the fact that yesterday I found out the boy with whom it never really ended has decided to start something new with another girl. I'm trying to be apathetic. There's nothing I can really do about it anyway, and I am with Crash now so.... c'est la vie.
I'll just be happy to spend time with my family tomorrow. Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you all get wonderful gifts and you have a great day.

It's snowing you guys!
I know that may not be a big deal to most but over here in HOUSTON, TEXAS that's a big fucking deal.
This made me full of Christmas cheer. I feel like a little girl making snowballs and trying to taste snowflakes on my tounge.
I love Christmas! I hope it snows again!

SO.... the boyfriend and I just returned from eating at this awesome new Indian place. And by new I mean that we have just discovered it, not that it's just opened.
And of course on the way home we almost get into a car accident. Things like this always seem to happen. If I had a quarter for every near death experience I swear....
Oh and the boyfriend? I've sent him away now. I spend two hours looking for the perfect hiding spot for his christmas present and he finds it ten minutes after he gets to my house. What a crock.
I'm going to see The Medic Droid at Warehouse Live on Monday. YAY! Although it will mean I will have to postpone watching the new episode of Heroes until Tuesday. Horrible, just horrible. Maybe I will be able to get off work early though so I can do both. One can only hope.
Anyway I hope everyone has a great weekend! I'm off to watch the boxing match (De La Hoya vs. Pach--whatever) and pretend I'm enjoying it. TTFN

Ok, so a new Livejournal, a new start! Starting it off with Edward Cullen, Because why not.
Went to the premiere last night, which was not as full as I thought it was going to be...
I'm not going to post any spoilers so don't worry.
I loved it!!!! Even though it was completely missing the scene where they have to draw blood in class and Bella almost passes out, I think they did a pretty good job of staying true to the book. Although I do wish there had been a few more scenes with Jacob. But who doesn't, eh?
